Dear colleagues,
As faculty and staff move out of Campbell Hall in preparation for the renovation, we expect to have furniture and other items available for use in other buildings. All items left behind will be discarded or sent to surplus. Before that happens, we would like to make them available to other units in our college.
Items include office desks, office chairs, bookcases, filing cabinets, meeting tables and chairs, and some small appliances (microwaves, mini refrigerators). All items removed by contractors will be placed in the Columbia Gas Lounge area.
Please follow the guidelines below to claim items from Campbell:
- Visit the Columbia Gas Lounge in Campbell Hall beginning Tuesday, June 13, through the end of June.
- Complete a short survey for anything you will be taking from the Columbia Gas Lounge: Item Relocation: Campbell Hall
- Label the item(s) you are taking with your name.# and the date when you will be removing the item(s).
- Note that the college is not able to provide physical or monetary resources to identify, label and relocate items from the Columbia Gas Lounge, so work with your individual units to determine how to best perform these activities.
- Plan to use the elevator on the north side of the building and loading zones along Lazenby to remove and transport items elsewhere. Scheduled moves are taking place using the loading dock, so please avoid crowding this area.
Please note that Campbell will be closing at the end of June.
